Inspired by motifs known for their popularity and association to the America's Cup, Newport Sailor features the original 1851 yacht, America, the New England sea gull, the pineapple (a sign of hospitality), the 13-star Union Jack and the Castle Hill lighthouse at the entrance to the Narragansett Sound in Rhode Island, all framed within an early Americana geometric quilt layout.
